Getting to Know . . . Vincent Baiera
What grade are you in and when do you expect to graduate?
I am a senior and expect to graduate in 5−6 months.
Which Catapult Academy center do you attend?
I attend the Spring Hill campus in Hernando County.
Why is getting a high school diploma important to you?
Getting my high school diploma is important so that I have a better future for myself.
What are your plans for the future after you receive your diploma?
I plan to join the military after getting my diploma.
Tell us something interesting about yourself–what are your special interests, talents, or hobbies?
I enjoy working on cars, and I am really interested in joining the military.
What is one piece of advice you would give to other students who dropped out of high school?
I would tell them to stay in school because you will regret it if you don’t. You will also miss opportunities if you don’t have a diploma.
What is the best part about attending Catapult Academy?
I like being able to work in school and at home.
Is there a person at Catapult Academy who really helped you along on your journey? How have they helped you?
Mrs. Colon has really helped me a lot with my courses. She is a great teacher.
